These terms govern your use of Legal Ground Truth (legalgroundtruth.com), a service operated by Capi Labs, Inc. ("Capi Labs", "we", "us"). By using the site or requesting a report, you agree to them.
What the service is
Legal Ground Truth produces independent comparative evaluations of contract-AI tools, starting with NDAs. We run the same contracts through multiple models, a licensed attorney resolves the clauses where models disagree, and we deliver a comparative report of the results.
Not legal advice
Capi Labs is not a law firm, and nothing on this site or in a report is legal advice. The attorney review described in our reports exists to establish the comparative record for the evaluation; it does not create an attorney-client relationship with you, and it is not advice about your contracts, your matters, or your decisions. You are responsible for your own legal judgments and for consulting your own counsel.
Not a certification
A report is a point-in-time comparative evaluation. It is not a certification, accreditation, endorsement, or guarantee of any model, tool, or vendor, and it does not predict how a tool will perform on your documents in the future.
Use of reports
Reports are provided for your internal evaluation and diligence. You may not publish report results, or use them in marketing, advertising, or public claims about any product, without our prior written agreement.
Your content
If you submit contracts or other documents for evaluation, you are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to share them with us for that purpose. Our handling of submitted documents is described in our Privacy Policy.
Accounts
Sign-in uses a magic link sent to your email address. You are responsible for the accuracy of that address and for keeping access to it secure. We may suspend or restrict access to the service to protect it or its users.
Disclaimers
The site and reports are provided as is. In plain language: we work to make the evaluations careful and accurate, but we do not promise that the site or any report is error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
In plain language: to the fullest extent the law allows, Capi Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or a report — such as lost profits or decisions you make in reliance on an evaluation — and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service giving rise to that claim.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
